Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
Deficiency Board is operated by Deficiency Board. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our construction punch-list service. We follow applicable privacy laws, including British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act and PIPEDA where it applies.
We collect your account email and the drawings, photos, notes, and other content you choose to upload. We use this information to provide and support the service, manage accounts, respond to requests, and protect the service. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides cookieless website usage measurements.
Account data and project content are stored using Supabase, with the database hosted in Canada, and Cloudflare R2. We use Resend to send service emails and Sentry to detect and fix errors; error reports may include technical data such as your browser, IP address or account email. Our service providers may process information in other locations under their own systems and legal requirements. If paid plans become available, Stripe will process payment information under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store full payment card details.
You own your content. You control what you upload and share. Anyone with a project share link may be able to view the content included in that link, so share links only with people you trust. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, and keep it only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal and security needs.
You may ask to access or correct your personal information, or request account and content deletion, by emailing support@deficiencyboard.com. We will take reasonable steps to delete the information, subject to legal obligations and temporary copies in backups. You may also contact us with a privacy concern at that address.
We may update this policy and post the revised version here. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future use. For questions or privacy requests, contact support@deficiencyboard.com.
